Map the work first
List the people who need email, meetings, file sharing and desktop applications. Office-based staff and frontline teams may have different requirements. Record existing licences so you can identify overlap before requesting a quote.
Compare more than the application list
Use Microsoft’s current comparison to check applications, device management and security capabilities. Check the exact regional offer and prerequisites. A similar product name does not guarantee identical entitlements.
Prepare a useful shortlist
