What to prepare for an Azure cost discussion
A useful estimate begins with your workloads and assumptions.
Describe the workload
Document the applications, region, operating hours, storage and traffic you expect. Include backup, monitoring and recovery requirements in the discussion.
Make the assumptions visible
Use the Azure pricing calculator to explore a scenario and retain its assumptions alongside the estimate. Changes in usage or configuration can change the result. An estimate is not a fixed-price subscription or an INFOC quotation.
Review before committing
Ask INFOC to review your workload and commercial options. Share existing usage if you have it, but never include passwords, access keys or tenant secrets in a quote request.
